Geoffrey James is an award-winning writer/performer from Cleveland, Ohio who now resides in Los Angeles. 

He has written and directed four short films that have been screened at such festivals as the Cleveland International Film Festival, Montreal Film Festival, and HollyShorts. His short film Check Please qualified for the 86th Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. In 2016, Geoffrey was selected as Funny or Die's writing fellow, writing and directing sketches for their critically-acclaimed comedy website. He currently writes and stars in the weekly HeadGum series Geoffrey the Dumbass and Off Days.

Geoffrey is pursuing a degree in Film and TV Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He also studies improv and sketch comedy in the advanced study program at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Geoffrey can be seen every Friday night performing with USC's long-form improv troupe, Second Nature, and at various indie shows throughout LA with his and Georges Saba's duoprov team, GEO Speedwagon.
